The basic technique for a perfect omelette.
Firstly you need a couple of eggs and a small light frying pan. Turn the heat up, add a little oil to the pan. I suggest you use sunflower oil as olive oil will burn at high temperatures.
Beat the eggs in a bowl for about 5 seconds with a fork. Add salt and pepper and pour the eggs into the hot frying pan.
Here is the technique, Use the back of the fork the move the eggs around in the pan for about 25 seconds. then leave it alone for a further 25 seconds and you should have a perfect omelette ready to serve in under a minute.
It really is that easy. Don’t be tempted to cook the omelette too long or it will turn into chewy rubber.
